Laura Gibb, Sr. Loan Officer, Blue Water Mortgage

A little bit about me

I’ve been a Mortgage Loan Officer for 20 years and going strong. I’m licensed in NH, ME, MA, VT, CT, NC, and FL. I take pride in being available to not only offer programs and rates which are competitive and beneficial to the borrower, but to truly go the extra step and help facilitate the process from start to finish. Buying a new home or refinancing an existing mortgage can seem a rather arduous process; however, my goal is to try to help make this process as streamlined as possible. I don’t work conventional “bankers hours” and try to be available whenever possible. Often my clients are amazed at how quickly I get back to them with answers to their questions and concerns. I also believe in the philosophy of “Customers for Life.” Many of my clients have been with me for years and I’ve helped them, their family members and their friends finance or refinance a home.

I am married and live with my husband in Hampton Falls, NH. I grew up in Portsmouth, N.H. and enjoy all the Seacoast has to offer. I come from a military family and take pride in this fact. To name just a few of my family members who have served; my husband is retired from the Air Force, my brother is a Commander in the Navy, and my father is a Navy Veteran. I do a lot of work with Veterans and VA loans. I also love to run and take part in road races as they’re not only a personal challenge, but they raise money for a good cause. Every year I run local races like the Market Square Day 10K, the Wallis Sands and the Smuttynose 1/2 marathon. I did the Tough Mudder in the past which raises a tremendous amount of money for the Wounded Warrior Project as the Spartan Beast, and extreme obstacle course with over 15 miles of terrain. I enjoy hiking, walking, tennis, writing poetry, and reading a classic book or the latest New York Times bestseller.
