About Matt

Hi Everyone!  My name is Matt Savage, and I am a long-time Real Estate investor who believes that true wealth can be generated from Real Estate.  I've been buying and selling Real Estate for over 20 years. I normally focus on buy & hold real estate and short-term vacation rentals.  I target the Seacoast, Lakes Region, and Monadnock Regions of New Hampshire...however, I'm open to assisting folks and finding new opportunities across New Hampshire, Maine, Vermont, and Massachusetts.

I started in my mid 20's when I purchased my first duplex in Dover, NH and I was instantly hooked!  I started buying multi and single family properties targeting the communities around the University of New Hampshire, in Durham NH.  In 2006 I opened my own Mortgage company and ran a contracting business in parallel.  During the 2008 crash, I learned many lessons about leverage, and how it can be a double-edge sword - I also learned about the dangers of adjustable rate mortgages...  Since that time I've focused on small multi-family, and short-term rentals, buying below-market properties and refining my purchase criteria.
